Wray Valley: Be part of our community

Experiences under development

Each year we develop and enhance the experiences for you to enjoy during your stay.  New for 2024 are our campfire cookery and woodfired pizza workshops.  During the summer we will be working on a  Sustainability Activity Trail and an Orienteering Trail. Follow us on social media and here to find out more.

We will also be writing up some more self-guided walks and nature trails.

If you have any skills or expertise that you would like to offer as an experience based here either in the main house and/or in the grounds please get in touch.  We are particularly interested to here from anyone wanting to organise retreats, nature based experiences or forest-based crafts.

Conservation Volunteering at Wray Valley

If you want to help out with some conservation work please get in touch.

Help Preserve Dartmoor’s Natural Beauty. Join us at Wray Valley for an opportunity to contribute to our conservation efforts right here on Dartmoor. As a volunteer, you’ll have the chance to get hands-on with essential tasks such as hedge laying, tree planting, coppicing, invasive weed removal, bracken and bramble control, and more—all within our stunning grounds.
 
By volunteering with us, you’ll not only gain valuable skills and experience in nature conservation but also contribute to the ongoing preservation of Dartmoor’s unique and fragile ecosystems.
