Campsite Finally Open

Wray Valley Camping is Finally Open

Campsite Open on Dartmoor

After a long delay due to COVID-19 we are finally able to open our campsite to campers who want a back to basics camping experience.

We have no fancy showers with booked slots for you to use so as to ensure social distancing, instead we have lots of open space, a river, a tree bog compost toilet and a drinking water tap from our supplied from our own borehole.

We have done our COVID-19 risk assessment and we will be briefing you on our arrangements on your arrival but we will be keeping it under regular review so we welcome suggestions for improvement.  Please feel reassured that we have your safety in mind and in particular our pitches are large and spaced far apart.

On a more practical note the campsite is adjacent to the Wray Valley Trail which provides off-road access to Lustleigh and Moretonhampstead (about 2km in each direction) and from there onto the wider open moor.

Our closest brewery, Black Tor, has also agreed to deliver if you let us know what you want 2 or 3 working days before you come.

We look forward to welcoming you to our small patch of Dartmoor so you can relax, enjoy and explore.   Go on, click on the camping link above to see more photos of our campsite.
